AKG Japan Ltd.

AKG Japan is located in Shin-Yokohama, a modern business district in the north of Yokohama’s city center. The company office is only a one minute walk away from Shin-Yokohama station from where it takes about 20 minutes to reach Tokyo station by the Shinkansen bullet train. This ideal location makes it easy for us to visit our customers in their offices and production plants.

AKG Japan was established in October 2008 as a 100 percent subsidiary of the AKG group. Since then we have supplied world-class coolers to a great variety of Japanese manufacturers. In recent years, a growing number of our customers have been considering setting up production bases outside of Japan.
Since being founded in 1919 until around 2000, the AKG group has primarily focused its sales efforts on the European and American market. However, over the past ten years, AKG has been expanding its global reach to promote sales in Asian countries, especially Japan. Japan is the most important market for AKG’s next sales strategy.
Since its establishment, AKG Japan has primarily focused its attention on conducting sales activities. As a next step, we are now strengthening our capabilities in order to offer engineering and design (3D CAD) services directly in Japan.
